Meet Mrs. Leggio

Hi, my name is Julie Leggio. I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. I would love for you to know a little about me, and I look forward to learning about your child. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1992 with a BA in Education. I have been teaching for 26 years. For the first 8 years of my teaching career, I taught in Clear Creek, and then I taught 6 years in Pearland- my hometown. This is my 13th year here at Windsong in FISD. My husband, Mike and I just celebrated our 22st anniversary this summer. We have two beautiful girls, Isabella- 19 years old and Alyssa- 16 years old. I love spending time with my family, watching my girls dance, watching movies and relaxing in the pool.

Mission For The Class

I believe that every child should be given the opportunity to succeed. It is my goal to give my students the tools and opportunities they need to be successful in my class. I want to instill a warm and comfortable environment so that my students feel confident enough to take a risk and learn something new every day.
