Welcome to Westwood!

I am so excited to be a part of the Westwood Kindergarten grade team!

I have been married to my best friend, Nathan, for 29 years. (NO, I am not married to the superintendent Thad Roher~I am married to his handsome brother!) Nathan is an Advanced Placement World History teacher at Friendswood High school and football coach.  We have four amazing children, Elaina who is 23 and is teaching high school Spanish in Springbranch ISD, Sallianne, our 21 year old, is a sophomore Pre-med student at U of H., J.T. is 18-he is starting his freshman year at U of H with a business major, and our youngest Nate is 12. He is in the seventh grade at the Junior High. 

I graduated from Barclay College with a Children's Ministry degree then later went back to get my teaching certification for early childhood through 6th grade. I have been teaching in some capacity for the past 22 years at the elementary, intermediate, junior high, and high school level. Teaching children of all ages is my passion but working with the young aged children seems to be where I thrive the most. I love seeing their faces when they finally understand a new concept or idea! 

I am looking forward to another amazing year and all the blessings that are in store for us!
